Getting photos buyers trust
  • Pull it out of the hangar. Shoot outside in daylight. Hangars are dim and the lighting throws off the colours.
  • Shoot the cover photo from the front three-quarter angle, standing back and crouching slightly. It's the view that sells an aircraft.
  • Send the panel straight on, ideally with the master on so the avionics are lit and readable.
  • Cover the whole aircraft: exterior from both sides, panel, interior and seats, engine, and the logbooks.
  • Don't crop or filter. Send the originals straight off your phone. We'll size them, and heavy editing makes buyers think you're hiding something.
  • Photograph the flaws too. Paint, corrosion, worn interior. Buyers find them at the inspection anyway, and showing them up front is what makes the rest of the ad believable.
